Recently announced by the Australian Government, a new Zone 0 for schools situated less than 150kms from Canberra will now attract a $5 rebate per student.
The rebate will support schools in the Canberra region to visit Parliament House and the Australian War Memorial as part of student education on Australian political history.
The new Zone 0 has a requirement to attend only 2 mandatory institutions rather than the usual 3, in recognition they are likely to be participating in a day trip rather than an overnight stay.
